Frequently Asked Questions
1. What is the cost per venue?
A. Please see the Information Pricing Page.
2. Will there be a drop for XYZ show?
A. I do not have a crystal ball. Please do not ask me if you think there will be drops or what time they will occur. I don't know until it happens.
3. Will I get a refund if there are no drops for my venue?
A. No. I have invested in the system that I use and spend an inordinate amount of time monitoring for drops. You are paying for that service.
4. Am I required to call you if I see a drop?
A. There is no way for me to know if you are aware of a drop or not. This system is for fans helping other fans get into shows. A phone call would be nice if you spot a drop. When you get the notification from me, usually it is because another fan spotted the drop and called me. Pay it forward.
5. I am located in Belgium. Can you send the calls to me?
A. Unfortunately, not. The system I use is limited to calls in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico. I have had some people in Europe get a ticket buddy in the US and the buddy has signed up for the service. When the buddy gets the call, they will, in turn, call their friend overseas. We Bruce fans are a determined bunch.
6. What exactly is a ticket drop?
A. Tickets are released after the initial on-sale date for a number of reasons. The stage or seating is reconfigured. Tickets for friends and family of the band members are released because they are not going to be used. Bruce has been known to have better tickets held back for a late sale to thwart scalpers.
7. Are dropped tickets usually better quality tickets?
A. For the most part, yes. GA and tickets around the stage are typically what are made available later. There have been occasions when upper level sections have been opened up after the stage is arranged. That was mostly during the half-house arrangement for Devil's and Dust.
8. What happens if there is a technical issue when the calls go out?
A. Those issues have been extremely rare. The software can tell me if the call was answered or if it rang and nobody answered. After a call goes out, I review the call report and if there seems to be an anomaly with a particular number, I will resend the message, or call the number personally.
9. How many calls will I receive when I sign up?
A. You will get a call for as many drops as there are. There is no limit. I have had instances where one venue has had 15 drops and subsequently, subscribers have gotten that many calls. You can send me an email and I can unsubscribe you if you have gotten tickets for a particular venue.
10. If I do not answer the call what happens?
A. The system will make several attempts. If you do not answer, a message will be left.
11. Does your system send text messages?
A. At this point it does not. I have been working with a programmer to get that going. If it becomes a reality, I will let all subscribers know and will update the website.
12. Can I sign up multiple phone numbers for the same single price per venue?
A. I used to allow this, until a few people took advantage and signed up friends for the same cost. If you want a second number for a single venue the cost is double. My advice is to simply send it to your cell phone and keep it on all the time. Except in the movies.
